The Final Outlaw is a portrait, top-down western monster shooter for Android. Fight through 100 campaign stages, earn better equipment and take another shot at the frontier. Released on November 4, 2026, this indie adventure comes from solo developer Piledrivegames.
Ten districts bring different town layouts to the trail. Adobe houses, narrow alleys, road junctions and cover shape each encounter. Find a route through the streets, keep an eye on the creatures closing in and leave yourself a way out.
Your shots. Your timing.
Move with your left thumb and hold the gun control to fire. Assisted targeting follows a visible enemy, while you decide when to shoot. Your starting magazine holds 20 rounds, so watch your ammunition, choose a moment to reload and dash out of danger before the town catches up with you.
Fast runners close the distance. Heavy tanks take more punishment. Ranged attackers make open streets dangerous, and guardians put your movement and firepower to the test. Good positioning matters as much as another bullet.
Follow the trail through 100 stages
Each campaign stage has a saved town layout and an objective. Clear an encounter, survive the clock, gather supplies, hold your ground or defeat a guardian. Earn campaign stars, experience and equipment between attempts, then return with a stronger plan.
A tutorial opening introduces the controls before the frontier asks more of you. When you want a different challenge, endless survival gives you a run to push a little further each time.
Seven ways to build your outlaw
Spend earned coins on permanent gear upgrades that change how you handle the next fight:
- Damage and health: hit harder and withstand more trouble.
- Movement speed: create space and navigate crowded streets.
- Magazine capacity and reload speed: keep your gun ready when the pressure rises.
- Dash recovery and armor: escape sooner and improve your defenses.
Daily quests and a seven-day gift streak offer more ways to progress. Choose what helps your play style, then head back out.

A frontier that travels with you
Core gameplay and progression work offline, with saves stored locally on your device. Play a campaign challenge during a short break or settle in for an endless run. Google Play Games features, including achievements and leaderboards, require a connection and sign-in.

Is The Final Outlaw free?
Yes. The Android game is free with ads. Where offered, rewarded ads provide optional continues or supply rewards; ads require an internet connection.
Does it shoot automatically?
You hold the gun control to fire. Assisted targeting helps you follow a visible foe, but shooting, reloading and dashing are still decisions you make during the fight.
Does my progress save?
Yes. Campaign progress and upgrades save locally. Google Play Games sign-in does not add cloud saves, so keep local progress in mind when clearing app data, reinstalling or changing devices.
